Delicate white blossoms drift across a rich teal-blue landscape in the featured Japanese Chiyogami papers of this one-of-a-kind Storyteller. The striking combination of creamy white flowers, crimson accents, and deep blue-green tones creates the feeling of a garden in full bloom beneath an endless sky.
These beautiful papers are woven throughout the book with handmade lokta, Hahnemühle Bugra, Fabriano Tiziano art papers, and archival soft white writing pages, offering a range of textures and surfaces for writing, sketching, and collecting thoughts.
The pages are hand-sewn into natural teal leather, chosen to echo the tones within, and finished with hand-dyed sari silk ribbon.
Like all Hypatia Storytellers, this book is meant to be lived with. A place to capture travels, memories, sketches, dreams, observations, plans, and all the moments you don't want to lose.
The changing pages invite different kinds of thoughts and expressions, often opening doors that a blank journal never could.
Handcrafted one page at a time in my Martha's Vineyard studio.

This exceptional Japanese paper is made in a precise and laborious process of stenciling and resist dying based on traditional kimono-printing techniques using persimmon-dyed kozo as the stencils and a highly skillful process that produces striking beauty in long-lasting color and the unmistakable look of a print truly made by an adept hand. The color, quality, and beauty of these papers always take my breath away!
Complementing the Japanese Chiyogami paper is a curated selection of fine art papers - Hahnemühle Bugra and Fabriano Tiziano, along with handmade Lokta and cotton rag papers - bringing inviting texture, depth, and tactile beauty to every page.
